Make it British

Posted by 1 on

As you have probably gathered from the nature of the goods on our website, we here at Organic Fantastic are passionate about the way things are grown and the way that products are made. I am also very proud to support our economy here in the UK. But how do you know if the things we sell or you buy are truly Made in Britain? If you go to your local Supermarket you will see the little red tractor sign, an assurance that the produce that you are buying has met the standards to be certified as quality products made and grown in Britain. But what about clothes? Well there is no standard as yet, but there is a forum today the 3rd of October 2013 by Kate Hills founder of the Make it British website. This is at the Best of Britannia event being held at Farmiloe Building London EC1M 4AY. Be there if you can or come back here for the details on how the discussion went. I for one feel that there should be such a logo to promote and protect our farmers and local manufacturers and am doing all that I can to ensure that all the clothing products that we sell are sourced from UK produce and manufactured in the UK.
