It was a bit of an event for our family. We had been watching the countdown and looking forward to watching the bicycle powered concert from Sophie Ellis Bexter and we were not disappointed. Earth Hour is a chance for us all to get together and make a statement about how we feel about issues that are destroying our planet. Their strap line is "it's our planets time to shine".
